If You Give a Kindergartener a Computer...
Kindergarten students at Sunrise Drive got to receive their first lesson on laptops today! Teachers provided a simple powerpoint template for students to show their knowledge of the pumpkin life cycle.
Students were able to successfully
- log into a local network account.
- maneuver a trackpad.
- type letters and numbers.
- two-finger click-and-drag to show a chronological order.
- save their own powerpoint file to the desktop.
The trackpad is hard work for most students this age who are use to navigating a tablet. But, these students showed perseverance!
