Students Receive Technology Lessons in Relation to Showing Respect and Responsibility
The beginning of the school year is always filled with new excitement, friends, teachers and learning tools. As students settled into the learning routine for the 2018-2019 school year, classroom teachers partnered with their site Curriculum Technology Integrator to teach introductory technology lessons.
Students practiced how to handle school technology.
Students also had an opportunity to log into their accounts for the first time in the school year.
Lastly, students had the task of navigating websites for various reasons: fine motor skill building using a trackpad, successfully signing up for their teacher's established Google Classroom, or using headphones and the laptop together to practice one of the skill sets in Daily Five activities (Listening to Reading).
Together, teachers and students are anticipating the next time an opportunity affords technology use in the classroom.
